Partnership for Children promotes literacy with space-themed reading program

Columbus County Partnership for Children (CCPC) implemented a literacy program for elementary students during a summer reading camp in June at Edgewood Elementary.  CCPC has been providing this program for the past four years thanks to a $5,000 Champions for Literacy grant, which is made possible by corporate sponsors like International Paper who support the Fight for Literacy Games, through which collegiate sports teams – in the case of CCPC, the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
